We get a message everyday from women who are frustrated with the growth of their hair, so we thought it would be great to focus on the basics of hair growth to help you troubleshoot what may be happening with you on your healthy hair journey.
On average, hair grows at half an inch per month. So if you are expecting to gain 2 inches of hair in a month, it is not likely to happen. However, there are things that can affect growth - such as hormones, stress, your health and your hair care regimen. For example, poor nutrition can cause your hair to be dry and brittle, making it highly susceptible to breakage and not allowing you to see the growth you desire.
So before you start spending money on products and pills that promise growth, evaluate your health and how you treat your hair. Try buying products that support healthy hair and scalp, allowing your body to naturally grow your hair at its normal rate.
