5 Creative Ways To Use The Baobab Collection

OurBaobab collection is made up of 6 wonderful products that were created to help revive hair and make it healthier and each of them has its use. But what if we told you that there were other non-traditional ways to use these products? Well, there are and we’re going to be telling you how.

Using the Moisturizing Sulfate-Free Shampoo as a Hair Exfoliator: I’m sure most of us are fans of skin exfoliation and getting rid of dead skin cells but did you know that you could also exfoliate your scalp? All you need to do is add a spoonful of sugar to your shampoo and mix together to get an exfoliating scrub for your hair. The benefit of this is that it helps remove excess dandruff and skin cells from your hair to give you a healthier scalp. The trick is not to do this so often because over-exfoliating can strip your hair of its natural oils and you do not want that.

Using the Uhai Hair Conditioner as a Hair Mask: If you ever ran out of your hair mask mixture and were looking for what to use in the interim, you will be happy to know about this little hack. This also applies if you’re a bit short on money and can’t afford to get a new hair mask. Instead of leaving your conditioner on for 3 minutes as directed, you can leave it on for a longer time (an hour is good enough) while keeping your hair covered under a plastic cap. Afterward, you can rinse out the conditioner as you normally would. Genius!

Mixing the Oil Blend and Scalp Serum for a Pre-Poo Treatment: Now, we know that most of you are used to using the Oil Blend for moisturizing and the Scalp Serum for hydrating and soothing your scalp but what you didn’t know is that you can also mix them together for an effective pre-poo treatment. This is a very creative use of the products and the benefits of doing this are numerous. From nourishment to helping you detangle properly, this mixture can serve as the perfect pre-poo product for many. You can apply it from the root of your hair to the tip and cover for about 30 minutes. When the time is up, you rinse out and follow up with your normal shampoo and conditioner process. This treatment helps to protect and strengthen especially brittle hair and can serve as a personal DIY spa treatment for your hair.

Using the Styling Cream as a Curl Activator: If you are a fan of curly wigs, then you definitely know what we mean when we talk about the wet look versus the dry look. And I am sure that you would also like to know that some customers actually use the Uhai styling cream to create wet luscious curls by simply adding water to the cream and mixing it together in a spray bottle. Then spraying generously on your curly wig to activate its curls.

Using the Edge Gel as a Brow Gel: This one is for the make-up enthusiasts in the house. Did you know that there are people who use our hair gel as brow tamers? Well, neither did we but we have to say it is quite the genius hack especially if you are someone who prefers tamed eyebrows. The trick is to use a spoolie and brush over your eyebrows with just a small amount to hold down the unruly hairs.
